My friend Manya has done her best to coach me through this fetish. She makes her living as a photographer. I'm someone with pretensions of getting another " one in a million pic".I took a picture of a woman on the waterfront in Beirut and have been hooked on taking pictures ever since. The original snap was on a very crappy Olympus camera and ever since I've been burning through cash and trying to do a little better every time. It seems the better the equipment, the more unforgiving my eye is becoming. The point of all this is that I just spent £1300 on TWO lenses. .....That's exactly DOUBLE what I paid for my camera.
I bought them online and saved £400.
I had a £10 pizza to celebrate my birthday....so what the hell.But still.
Manya, I can hear you sighing 10,000 miles away.
