This guy was my cab driver in Beirut for three days.
I passed this guy every morning and finally got a shoeshine from him on my last day. He told me he made about $25 a day. Beiruit again
I never really got the story on this guy. Everyday he sat behind that desk. Sometimes he would yell, others just mutter to himself. A casualty of sadder times in Beirut
This guy asked me to take his picture....for the most part people in Beirut were really friendly
This picture was a bit more sinister. I was sitting, drinking coffee at an outside table and this guy took my picture, so I took his. With that funny little smile , he sped off.....The whole thing creeped me out, but nothing came of it. When I first saw this picture, I thought the hole beneath the window was something other than the mirror fitting....paranoia I guess, but Beirut is peppered with bullet holes.
Balancing bread guy in Istanbul.
I liked the look of this guy. I asked to take his picture and he straightened into this pose.
Me in Berlin....looking far to rested, for it to be real....but it is
Hope you are all Happy and Healthy.....If anyone is actually visiting (?)

I know why he took your photo -you're starting to look more and more like a movie star amigo.
Looking good Terry. But get healthy! Everytime I hear from you, you've got a cold!!
Thanks for this great stuff on Beirut and the pics are gorgeous.
Wish I had one of these when I was in Africa.
Bye for now.l

The guy on the first picture looks a little like Gabriel GarcĂa-Marquez (Nobel Prize for literature 1982).
