We all know these things happen, but its hard to believe that they'll happen to us or anyone we know.
I'll try to take the advice, but I know that life has a way of taking over.....its easy to run a mile a minute, forgetting that all cheques we write, have to be cashed in the end.......
Hi- This past Friday, our neighbour and very good friend, Bill, died quite suddenly of a heart attack. He was only 46 years old. Like many of us, he worked hard, spending many hours of his day working and coming home later than he should have. He also spent time travelling away from home. As a result of all of this he was probably a bit more stressed out because of this. He had given up smoking a year ago, when his one year old son, Johnathan, was born. Why am I sending this message to you? Because I'm sending it to all friends who I feel work hard and are stressed out. My message is slow down, enjoy life. Don't let work take it over. I've come to realize over the last few weeks, and it was all brought to a head on Friday as I saw my friend wheeled out of his house never to return, that we take life for granted. And we shouldn't. Slow down, my friend.
Slow down.
That's it.
Names have been changed
Terry
