I know I've posted this a couple of times, but I never cease to be amazed at the deals on flights being offerered here in the UK.

Ryan Air has no fewer than 18 destinations that you can fly to FREE. All you do is pay the taxes which cannot amount to more than £15.40. There are over 20 places at 39 PENCE and a couple of dozen under £10. Sure its crowded, uncomfortable and crap service, but you can go to places for next to nothing and the flights are rarely more than 2 hours.
Ryan air flies to secondary airports which means you may be landing more than 1 hour away from where you think (Eg Gatwick is really Prestwick), but at these prices, how can you go wrong?
I know a guy who checks the site every Thursday, picks a place and goes for the weekend. He's been to over 15 different destinations over the past 18 months and reckons he's never paid more than £80 all in for a return ticket.
I was thinking of starting a little project.
I will work my way through the Ryan Air schedule and write a little review of each place.
What do you think?
There are a few of other cheap airlines (not quite as cheap!) and you can see them here.

So if you're planning a trip to the UK this year, and fancy a continental side trip check these sites out!
Hope all is well

I think its a great idea and perfectly suited to you. And I'm sure there is a market for it. Who knows, maybe you could get a book deal out of it!
Happy trails.
well a book deal is overstating things a bit...I guess the issue is whether or not I really want to get on a plane when I'm not working...but thanks for the positive vibe

a book?
OK, but no annoying ellipses, please?
