This is a pretty good hotel. I had a coffee on the terrace by the river and finishing up the busboy said " I hope you have a nice evening Mr Robinson. I also sincerely hope that your neck feels better"...............???????!!!!!!!
I've spent very little time in this hotel. I have never seen the busboy before, nor eaten in the restaurant.
I did ask the "butler" on my floor for some pain relievers as I had a sore neck.
I went to the hospital today to get some treatment as sleep is becoming a problem. "Crack, Crack, twist, twist"....Intially it felt worse, but is lossenling up now a bit. I got x-rays done and will get the results tomorrow. Fused disc in the 4th vertebrate is their thinking, whatever that means.
Total treatment costs: £18, lack of appetite and a yearning for more fluid movement.
Well, back to the fray. I have a dinner tonight with the "Grand old man of Thai Education". He controls all of the government budgets, and though needs to be handled carefully, is full of delightful stories and tells a mean off colour joke!

Dearest, I do feel that a massage will help you sleep, sit, stay upright, walk... perhaps not one that would entail a lot of pressure though. The hot-stone massage Carmen suggested sounds soothing.
About the skin whitening lotions in Bankok, the Philippines' market was bombarded with those as well. Now, it's done by laser, a la Michael Jackson.
The photographs are excellent as always. Thank you.
Hey, as we've all been privy to your recent ails, you might want to consider changing the blog's name to 'The Chronicles of Terry Robinson: his travels, thoughts, back and neck' ; )
Ciao T,
Blisse
I just picked up my results and had another session with the cracking quack.
Mild kyphosis of cervical spine. Narrowing C5/6 disc, herniated disc cannot be excluded (yikes!)
There were quite a few good things as well, mainly no fracture, no lytic leasion, abnormal calcification. My Neural foramina are "unremarkable". What all that means beats me. My neck still hurts though.
