This little event warrants posting as I often despair that Dubai is completely devoid of little human events. It may seem strange that a bachelorette party qualifies in this regard but in talking to the girls and watching them have fun and party together, it does in my eyes.
The city always feels all about money and transient expats.
Bars full of hookers, and Saudis drinking whisky make me wonder why anyone in their right mind would want to live there.
I at first assumed that this group were Brits on a trip but after talking to them realised that most were living and working in the city.
It all may seem to be a bit of fun and silliness from where you're sitting and of course it is, but in a funny way it also put a more human face on Dubai than I had seen before. Many of the folks in the bar were bemused , and one guy in particular just DIDN'T GET IT, but that only seemed to add to the fun in a way.

Best of luck for the future!
I arrived in HK at 1 am last night after a crap 10+ hour flight via Bangkok. I'm pretty tired so if this post is rambling you know why.
More posts as and when something interesting crops up.
Love to all
