The winner of the poll and other bits and pieces

Here's the pic you liked the most. Personally the women grooming is my favorite but the half smile on this girl's face makes this interesting and even more sad than the obvious issue. Its been a glorious weekend in the UK with weather difficult to beat.
I was in London with my daughter during the day and various friends old and new in the evening. I had a camera malfunction which precluded any Jess pics, but here are a couple from Friday evening.
First off here's Kieron of Chicken Scratchings fame:He's well into his final placement, living rent free in london teaching at an inner city school. He's got some really funny stories which I hope he posts soon.
"Guns and Knives are for losers" is the chant he starts his class with every day.
We need more people like him in the system.
Its a tough job but more important than anything I do.
Next off is the pride of N Ireland and one of the few people who can drink me under the table.Stephen works for me and takes care of the UK and Northern Europe.
He's a good guy and solid as a rock.
I'm in the UK this week then heading back to the US.
I'll be in Ann Arbour mostly but will manage a quick stop in NYC in transit.
I've got some European and African dates in the calender for May and June so stay tuned.
There's a new poll up and I know its a bit lame, but vote anyway.
I hope your Moday goes well.
Love to all
T

Beware one of those picky teachers! - some destinations being cities and others countries (some pretty vast ones at that) makes it difficult to choose.

I would head back to Namibia, Etosha in particular and the Sossusvlei.

Vietnam. Definitely! I am going in about a week, so I am definitely pumped about that.

Sarah is definitely right about the country/city thing. Put Toronto on it and I will vote for it 100 times. Although I guess that isn't quite right since I actually live in Toronto.

Gosh darn it T! You're going to be a mere 240 miles away next week? Where's my flying kiss, huh?

Hah ; )

I figured I'd just drop by and say a good destination for you:
Go to hell!

Hey thanks for the lovely sentiment!
I've already been to hell and back a couple of times. It can feel pretty bad when you're there but ultimately as the cliche goes " If it doesn't kill ya, it makes you stronger".
The journey back is more important than the journey there.
Big Kiss out to you, whoever you may be (the list of possible candidates is impressively long!)
Hope your day is a little brighter as a result of leaving me this comment!

Nice! That's no way to treat a friend of mine.
