Baseball in Toronto

After a flight full of delays and screaming kids, I arrived in Toronto 18 hours after leaving Cambridge.
It felt strange getting off a flight and not having a regimented schedule. None of the work rituals after check-in, no quick email scan or rushing off for dinner.
Just rest.
I could get used to this!
I spent a lazy afternoon yesterday catching up with a friend drinking beer in the sun and tonight I'm off for a BBQ and no doubt a fair amount of wine.
I went to a Blue Jays game this afternoon and after a couple of beers, hot dogs and a 8-0 thrashing of Seattle, all feels right in the world.

Tomorrow I head to Ottawa to hang out with my parents and will doubtless spend the week being flooded by memories of times past as I navigate through a city of half forgotten stuff. The sight of mundane things can bring back ill considered adventures.......there are tons of good stuff lurking around each corner too.

I hope all is well wherever you are.

Great seeing you in TO. Go Jays, but they are kind of out of it. Good pics though.
