Cape Town

Cold and grey.
That's the weather here at the southern end of the world. Table Mountain is draped with a table cloth of clouds, something which I've never seen but is the way its lionised in postcards. Its wet, cold and gloomy but after a 12 1/2 hour flight matches my mood. I'll try and get up the mountain if I have time and hope to visit Robben Island though free hours may be in short supply over the next 5 days.
One thing I will have is steak.

I'm staying at the waterfront which is a redeveloped section of the working harbour. Its a bubble in what has become an increasingly crime ridden and violent city. Its not Jo'berg, and I don't feel the tension of that city but its clear that its best to beware and keep your wits about you.
Tonight I think I'll just sleep and chill out.

That's it for now.

The internet connection sucks so I've had to limit the pictures.

Love to all
T
