Are you sure you are at the right job ? I liked what you have written, I loved the pictures – they are great and even more the fact that you find the time and energy to so. I think you have missed something without it Jerusalem is not Jerusalem - the shawarma pita.
Follows your stories about "special" food you are forced to eat from time to time, you must know, and I am not joking, that among all strange and different types of food you can find in Jerusalem ( as a result of so many home countries people are from ) there is dish, in plate or in pita bread, which is called "Jerusalem mix". You can find the best in the western part market and it is a mix of the chicken inner parts with onion and other goodies that makes you also clean the table before you leave and forget, for few minute only, the taste of the best falafel you can get in the same place as well.
Chicken Inner parts is not a "deli" for English people being a food for poor that can`t allow themselves real meat. I remember friends that stayed for few years in London, not in the Jewish parts that used to go to the butcher and tell that these parts are for the dog.
