North Korea at it again

"If the U.S. imperialists start another war, ignorant of the ignominious defeat they had sustained in the past Korean war, the army and people of Korea will determinedly answer "sanctions" with retaliation and "confrontation" with all-out confrontation, the counter-measure based on the Songun idea, wipe out the aggressors on the globe once and for all and achieve the cause of national reunification without fail."

North Korea has just threatened to wipe the US off the face of the earth (they're going to test another missile).
It seems they're also pissed that US and South Korean naval vessels are shadowing North Korean freighters and are threatening to board them.
The DMZ is closed.
The Armed Forces Network ( on regular TV here) is broadcasting " a State of Readiness" in between episodes of Oprah.
CNN just reported that the mood in the Pentagon is "tense".
Shit
I'm in Seoul today.
Hmmm
There's also a BBQ at one of the bases this afternoon as well as a paintball tournament.
Nice little counterbalance to anxiety don't ya think?
The South Koreans seem unconcerned as threats from Uncle Kim are a broken record.
Watch the news.
I fly out tonight.
I'm not so jet-lagged anymore.
