Chinese New Year from the roof of my apt building

Its amazing how you can live somewhere just shy of two years and not know there's a cool terrace on the roof (39th floor).
I just watched the glow of the obscured fireworks display from Victoria Harbour celebrating the Year of the Tiger.
The percussion of sound bouncing off the buildings up the peak behind my place was really cool given the mist and light rain.
Listening to Iggy Pop on the I pod alongside a jabbering family of Italians made it all the more surreal.
In a good way I assure you.
Its a long way down and I can't wait to get up there with a wide angle lens during the day.
I'm on my 2nd conference call of the evening and have to get up at 5 am to fly to Singapore in the morning.
I hope this gets easier when I move to the US.

Big Kiss to all and Happy Year of the Tiger!

Stay well

T

Surely last year was the year of the Tiger...sorry, that's probably a played out joke 4 days after the Chinese NY. What do I know anyway, living at the bottom of the world in a land called Oz. Great pics of the building T...surely some sights to be missed when you enter AA...
be well,

I think you@re a dickhead. Your carbon foot print must be huge. All in pursuit of seperating people from money.A wall and a serviceable shot gun would solve that problem

Happy New Year to you too!
Big kiss Mr Brave guy

T - is "carbon footprint" code for another large object...dude has issues...mr. A has a refreshing tone filled with positivity...it’s up there with the smell of napalm in the morning ;-)

I got a big hug for you too baby!

I get these sorts of comments from time to time. I usually don't bother to let em pass as its just some lame ass trying to get attention. Sending flame comments snug within a cocoon of anonymity is typical of a limp dick's idea of fun.
All part of the whole blog thing...this one is mild compared to other's I've gotten.

In honour of Mr Caustic I've changed the music on the blog just for him. The lyrics probably sum up his view of moi.
Radiohead can come in mighty handy at times....
