I got into LA late last night and because of the west coast-east coast 3 hour time difference I was up at 6am. There's not a lot to do in LA at 6 am Sunday morning so I went for a drive up into the Hollywood hills. 
Some people were working.
I really don't get LA.I don't dislike it particularly, I just don't understand how a giant suburb is perceived as being so hip.

LA has never really appealed - its the East Coast and the South for me...!
