but sometimes it doesn't
Well no It doesn't But sometimes it throws you a curve and you need to read the swing of the ball. If you do that then you just swing the bat and you get another strike and that's the way of it all. Stupid and incomprehensible but true. Terry
Hey T - Not going to give you the typical "cheerleading job" you get from me....here's what I tell my girl's fastpitch team I've coached to WINNING seasons for the past ten years. EVERY time you go to the plate you have a 50-50 chance of hitting the ball. BUT - if you just stand there, watch, and don't swing - you've taken the bat out of your own hands. Watch the third strike go by & expect to run laps at next practice! SO - my advice is to keep swinging, don't take the bat out of your hands and give control to the "pitcher" - - and being male, remember to wear your cup! A fastball hitting low can sure put you out of the game too! (he he he) NOW - get back to the plate Mister R - - I refuse to ever believe that there is a pitcher in the game that can bench you! (Okay, so it was a little cheerleady - but you know you are greatly admired, right?) ALWAYS - - KC
I spend the majority of my life on the road for my job and this little travelogue fulfils two purposes:
It lets me document the little vignettes which unroll all around you if you take the time to pay attention. It also lets me live under the illusion that my job doesn't dictate every aspect of my life.

Hey keep your chin up. If you did not like the way that cookie crumbles, perhaps you should try cake, or hamburgers or something that crumbles better!
