Today's Post
I'm back in the office today and don't have anything to post of my own, so over my lunch hour I decided to share a smile courtesy of my friend Kassy. I'm sure she won't mind, though I haven't asked her!
Hope all is well and everyone is healthy and happy.
It's too bad that the comic relief that George Bush provides us also makes the world a much more dangerous place. Hopefully we will survive the next two years.
not to contradict David but I think if Hillary Clinton could be our next President, I'd be the one wanting to jump without a parachute! haha Unfortunately, W is a very easy target for these types of jokes. If you've ever met the man in person and had a chance to talk to him, however, you'll find he's more intelligent than he appears.....
Well there is a whole George Jr is a moron industry and it can be pretty mindless. It is however disconcerting to hear the most powerful man in the world have problems putting a sentence together. W isn't alone in being the target of potshots. Every pres gets the treatment. The republicans have shown they're pretty good at throwing dirt when the fancy strikes them, so its hard to feel sorry for them. In a few years variations on this joke will be circulating about a democratic president and everyone regardles of political stripe will chuckle along. We have a go at our leaders.....its part of the harmless process of letting off steam.....pity Fox news can't participate
AMEN TERRY!! It's pretty hard to swallow all the moaning & bitching about the dirt slinging - when all sides have dirt on their hands, huh? The reason I've successfully steered clear of the possibility of getting into politics. (Besides - the real power comes from the lobbying efforts anyway!) Can you imagine how long my button-fly levi fetish would take to surface in the campaign process - who knows might get me votes! hahahaha!
I spend the majority of my life on the road for my job and this little travelogue fulfils two purposes:
It lets me document the little vignettes which unroll all around you if you take the time to pay attention. It also lets me live under the illusion that my job doesn't dictate every aspect of my life.
