Weekend

OK
Once again I've been reminded that a 6 year old has unimaginable power.
It never ceases to amaze me how a shy smile from my daughter can have me walking on air with all thoughts of work hassles and life trivia I dwell on to be banished.

I spent the weekend with my sister, niece, daughter, mom and dad.
This was the equation:

1 -6 year old +
1- 5 year old +
1 sister +
1 big family hotel room +
1 tired Daddy
= A gigglefest of barbies, picture books, Halloween flashlights and whispered laughter (when sleeping is what they should be doing).

A bemused daddy was chided by sis (much hilarity from little ones) for snoring whilst collapsed on a cot after chasing the cherubs around and trying to keep up with an 8:00 am run around Bishop's Park, toy store perusing and pizza lunches.
I was also "the shark" in the pool while admiring newly acquired backstroke and breast stroke skills accompanied by the shrieks of little girls at play.

My daughter's portrait of her dad.

Hope your weekend was as good
