A 1.3 km section of the wall has been relocated to the East Side Gallery in South East Berlin standing in the open air by the river Spree. It feels abandoned and neglected and what was originally concieved as a chance to touch a piece of history has resulted in a number of wannabe artisits vandalising an interesting glimpse into the past. There's quite a bit of "Bill Wuz Here" stuff scrawled over some interesting pictures.
I've tried to document some of the more original murals.
Let me know what you think.

That's it for the wall. I still have some Riechstag pics to post but I have well and truly run out of time.
RIO here I come!

Shame about the graffitti. The murals are poignant. I guess its hard to get young people to respect things for their hiistoric significance these days. Gosh! I sound like a grandmother!!
