Easter Sunday in Dubai

This is how I spent my Easter morning.

Last year I had an Easter egg hunt with my daughter. Though today was pretty good, there's no doubt in my mind what I would have preferred in 2007.

This will soon be the tallest building in the world. Its 120 stories so far and already ranks as the tallest structure as unfinished as it is. The last time I was here (4 months ago) there were only 75 stories built. Stuff goes up fast here.

If only all business was the same.
My appointment decided that his head was too sore to meet so I went off to the Emirates Mall where I was determined to do something one doesn't normally associate with the Middle East.

I went Skiing. For 160 Dirhams, you can ski for 2 hours.

I did 3 runs and realised that my insurance wouldn't cover any mishap should I come a cropper.

So I stopped.

Pretty bloody middle-aged huh?

Man I AM getting far to old and sensible.

The ski hill feels like a fish bowl being as it is separated from the mall with floor to ceiling windows

My connection sucks and the pictures are taking far too long to load, so I'm going to sign off.Tune in again later as I saw were some interesting and surprising things on my trip to the mall today.
