My friend Dave has arrived for a flying visit from Canada. I've known him for 20 years.

There's a "real ale" festival in Cambridge and we took a look.

Yep we'd overdone it the night before.
The "taster's notes" describe "Oblivion" this way: A very dark, strong ale. Spiced fruity aroma with a rich malty fruit flavour. Brewed with Amarllio, Centennial and chinook hops.
I say the 6.7% alcohol content gives it the name.
Yesterday we went to London to see Jess and headed to South Bank. 
The usual odd collection of people and street performers were out in full force.
