Canada

I haven't had much time to post anything as I've been busy.
I'm now in Michigan having spent the last 10 days in Toronto and Ottawa and head back to Honkers on Monday.Obama visited Ottawa and this bakery in the Byward market.
They're milking it for all its worth. Who said Canucks weren't mercenary?Toronto is one of my favorite cities and I always enjoy touching down here.
There is a garbage strike at the moment and the rubbish is piling up. Mild weather has minimised the stench though a heat wave is on its way.
That's it other than the fact I celebrated another year on this planet and am contemplating the slow slide to 50....(oh God)
Oh and I've quit smoking .Stay well

Terry,

It was good to see you pal! I am very impressed with your mindset on the smoking front. Very impressive!

Slow slide to 50! Well just think of it this way. I am 2 years ahead of you.

Take it easy buddy! I owe you.

Like that shot of the CN tower. The curving facade of that old govt building on Front street is great foreground Always reminded me of Regent street - albeit on a smaller scale. Keep shootin'.

It's not the years of your life that matter but the life in your years.

You've experienced so many different lives across every part of the globe.

I hardly call that a slow slide.

PS - Happy belated birthday.
