Beijing

I'm in Beijing for a couple of days with my Cambridge class and we took the predictable tourist pilgrimage to  a section of the Great Wall yesterday. Though the light was pretty much washed out by a leaden heavy sky, I managed to get off a few pictures that were  worth posting.

 

In typical Asian hotel style my toilet is equipped with the latest Japanese toilet.

Warmed "undulating" water to help clean your bits and a dryer to finish off is a rather odd way of doing your business.

The heated seat is nice though.

I'm unlikely to get a chance to take any pictures or post much this week as I'm facing a pretty daunting schedule.

If I get a chance I'll put something up as and when.
