Quick week in Rio

I was in Rio for family reasons last week and though at times fraught, all ended well. April is a month  of transition weather wise and though not in full summer glory, I find the city quite interesting at this time of year.

Its cold here by local standards (26 degrees Celsius but still rather humid....BRRRR!). The beaches were never crowded but this being Rio, the tourists still had the company of die-hard locals who just can't stay away.

That's it for today.
Back in England now where spring is trying desperately to make its presence felt.
The forecast bodes ill though as the mercury is supposed to dip below zero by the end of the week.
More as and when.
Stay well
T
