For those of you who had the misfortune to read the maudlin up my own ass/depressed/self absorbed post from last night....sorry about that.
I woke up this morning at around 7 with a bottle of wine self indulgent hangover and thought, "OH JEEZE!".
I stumbled downstairs and deleted the nonsense.

I also made the ill considered choice of movie to watch whilst undergoing my boozy navel gazing: "A guide to Recognizing your Saints"

After India I really don't have much to be pissed off about.
I just get a bit pensive and moody at times.
Today I booked a trip back to Canada to see the aging "P's" and will be a good son for a bit.
The sun was shining today and it felt a bit like the summer that everyone says would never come. Wimbledon saw Venus add more silverware to the cabinet and LIVE EARTH is playing on the telly.
How much carbon footprint does that 5 continent electricity-fest have to offset???
OK .
Time to go to the wine cabinet and watch something less depressing than last night.
I'm sitting in my front garden listening to Chet Baker.
I see my little girl tomorrow and feeling that all, if not right with the world, is pretty OK from where I'm sitting in my own little corner.
That's not a bad place to be.
A seven year old is a better tonic than any bottle or drug.....its the medicine that puts the ferris wheel into perspective.
We all need that from time to time.

I think you are a smug piece of shit. You travel the world and have no thought of the damage you're doing to the enviroment. The concerts today mean a lot to my generation. You've destroyed the planet and we have to live with your self indulgence.
Well...I'm watching Madonna burn god knows how much juice in her little performance. God spare me from the preachings of a talentless squeeky voiced broad as she revels in her ego driven nonsense crap that she calls music.
As far as my destruction of the planet.....I'm presently quaffing wine and figuring out how I can fly FIRST class to South Africa. My carbon footprint will be HUGE!

Yeah, make sure to keep that introspective stuff well, well repressed. Posting narcissistic photos of yourself is an outstanding strategy to distract yourself and us all from any disatisfaction there may or not be going on inside. Kudos to you.

I choose not to be anonymous, but then again Terry knows just about everything there is to know about me and I know everything about him and he is a dear friend. The fact of the matter is that there is a a cost to everything. It is unfortunate in a lot of ways that it takes artists to get some people to take up a cause - in this case the environment. However, if it means wasting some electricity and exposing the air to some jet fuel to get some of us off our butts and start doing something for the environment, then I guess it might be worth that cost. Like or hate their music, Madonna and others have this power over some and I hope some good comes out of this.
I agree with Terry that these issues should be debated and that we should show our face. Anonymous shouldn't try to hide. Good to see your face Terry.

Frankly I wonder why so many of you are ragging this guy. I think my morning ritual when I get to the office would be less interesting if he stopped posting. I like the pics and though I wouldn't want to live his life, I get a kick out of tuning in and seeing what's going to pop up next.
